Welcome to this course for clergy and lay persons to learn more about clergy and lay sexual misconduct. Preventing Clergy Sexual Misconduct  (PCSM)

Factors: Identify the dimensions of clergy sexual misconduct, including general external, personal, and internal control factors. Policies Basic Policy statements about clergy ethics from Conference and general UM sources. This will include knowledge tests to determine whether user has read assigned materials. Situations: Scenario/Vignette of situations which a pastor may encounter, including brief test questions and feedback on correct answers Resources: These are articles, website links, book references, and other resources to assist the user. Networks: Information to connect user to coach sponsors, professionals, face-to-face small groups, and other networks. Reports: Has one or more brief inventories to help user ascertain his/her risk level for being involved in misconduct.
