The Inventory of Religious Interests and Activities
Answering the IRAI gives you opportunity to obtain an overall picture of your background, interests, activities, and experiences to help you to get a clearer understanding of the types of religious activities and work that may be most satisfying to you as you explore how best to respond to God’s call to you.
This inventory does not tell how religious you are. Rather, it tells what aspects of religion and vocations requiring religious training are most meaningful or most appealing to you.
This is not a test that you can pass or fail. There are no right or wrong answers. An answer is correct only if it is a true expression of how the activity or characteristic appeals to you or fits into your self-understanding. It is not expected that all the topics will be equally attractive to you. Some may not interest you at all, while others may be quite appealing. So, we invite you to be “CANDID” in all your answers (one of the meanings of "Candidacy”).
For each IRAI question click on the alternative that best expresses your answer. If none of the options fit you exactly, choose the one that is nearest to your view.
At the end of the page there is button that will save your answers.
As long as you have not completed the entire IRAI you can go back to any page and change the answers.
